About Us
Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Florida Golden Gloves to provide an activity and safe
environment that promotes and enhances the physical and emotional well-being
and social development of young athletes; develops individual athletic skills,
work ethic, discipline, sportsmanship, self-respect and pride; and provides
entertainment to citizens of the community. In seeking to fulfill its mission,
Florida Golden Gloves coordinates tournament competition and works with boxing
gyms throughout the great State of Florida; from Pensacola, in the panhandle,
down to the southernmost tip of the U.S., Key West. Each year hundreds of
athletes compete and vie for a chance to represent the State of Florida at the
National Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions.
We are a Not for Profit Florida Corporation, designated by the Internal
Revenue Service as a 501 (c) (3). Donations are gratefully accepted and
are tax deductible to the donor.
